So how can we survive the Flu season? Ask Dr. Dale Brown

So how can we survive the Flu season? Strenthen the immune system! Take care of your spine and nervous system! University of Rochester School of Medicine -David Foelten, M.D., PhD., professor of neurobiology and anatomy “Nerve fibers go into virtually every organ of the immune system. We found that if you took the nerves away from the spleen or lymph nodes, you virtually stopped immune response in it’s tracks.” Its critical that your spine is in the proper posistion for optimal nerve control of the immune system. So when your body is fighting something like the flu, strengthen your immune system through getting adjustments to remove pressure from your nerve system. Supplement Recommendations: 1. Vit. D - Critical for proper immune function! 2. Pro-biotics - Healthy bacteria in your gut strengthens and fortifies your immune system! 3. Raw Garlic - Natural anti-viral, and promote healthy gut bacteria, also loaded with vit. C 4. Vit. C - Everyone know this crucial nutrient. 5. Oregano Oil - Natural promoter of good bacteria and kill bacteria. 1drop in a glass of water for a sore throat. 6. Coconut Oil - Healthy fats boost the bodies natural defenses.

SCENTSY becomes a New Sponsor!! for TT 2011

Here is a word from one of our new sponsors of the the 2011 R3 Turkey Trot 5 and 10 Mile. Don't Miss It!! November 19, 2011. (Expo November 28, 2011 at the Hilton Garden Inn). Give Victoria a call if you have some smelly shoes!! Scent Circles are amazing!!

Scentsy is a great alternative to open-source candles! They have decorative warmers which heat the wax cubes with a low-watt lightbulb. The wax is infused with scent oils and is a high-quality paraffin wax. What does this mean? It means that if a child puts their fingers into the wax, it will NOT burn them! The warmers all have on/off switches and a protective covering on the bottom of the warmers to protect your table surfaces. They also have plug-ins which are like night lights and if your outlets are upside down or sideways, the stems turn to accommodate the direction of your outlets. With Scentsy, there’ll be no more soot on your walls and no more clogging your ducts, which candles will do over time.
There are also several other products available. If candles are not your thing, but you like your home to smell amazing, there are room sprays. They are concentrated, so one spray goes a long way. In addition to the room sprays, there are scent paks for your dresser drawers, closets, or anywhere you want to smell great.
For those on the go, there are scent circles and travel tins. Hang a scent circle from your rearview mirror or closet, in your office, or in your laundry room. Travel tins can be placed in gym bags, gym lockers, between the trash can and liner, in diaper pails between the liner and pail, under your seat in your vehicle, anywhere. The tins won’t melt in a hot car!
If you’d like an introduction to Scentsy or would love to sample the 80+ scents available, please contact Victoria Gildernew at 931-538-0219 or my website at http://victoriagnew.scentsy.us.
